Grandmaster Han Min Kyo
Grand Master Han Min Kyo is a world-renowned Ninth Degree Black Belt with 39 years of international experience with Tae Kwon Do. He has made guest appearances on:
One of his most famous students was Lucille "Killer" Thompson, who became the world's oldest black belt at the age of 88 in 1984. She appeared with Grand Master Han and his brother on "The Tonight Show" and "Late Night with David Letterman". She passed away in 1994 at 98 years of age. Grand Master Han's Brother, Grand Master Han Cha Kyo, was a 9th-degree black belt and founder of the Universal Tae Kwon Do Federation, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. He was made a master by General Choi himself, who also authorized him to create one of the official hyung (patterns), Hwa-Rang. Han Cha Kyo passed away in 1996. Grand Master Han and his three brothers and one sister have 39 degrees among them. |
