Yung started learning traditional Tae Kwon Do in 1978 at the age of
four; he became a fourth-degree black belt in 1991 and started competitive
TKD in 1993. In 1994-1995 and 1997, he was a resident athlete at the U. S.
Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
